Introduction and OA Statement

 Journal of International Relations and Area Development (JIRAD) is a peer reviewed, open access journal.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Open Access Licences

All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download, copy and distribute. We offer authors a choice of user licenses, which define the permitted reuse of articles. We currently offer the following license(s) for this journal:

Allows users to: distribute and copy the article; create extracts, abstracts, and other revised versions, adaptations or derivative works of or from an article (such as a translation); include in a collective work (such as an anthology); and text or data mine the article. This journal adopts the CC BY 4.0 International License (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). All articles submitted to and accepted by this journal are deemed to have obtained the author’s consent to be published and disseminated under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 License.

The journal simultaneously obtains a non-exclusive license to use the articles, and is entitled to include them in relevant databases or platforms for the purpose of academic exchange and non-profit dissemination. Authors retain the right of attribution and all other rights granted by law.

Article Publishing Charge (APC)

As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee (Article Publishing Charge, APC) is payable by the authors, or their institution or funders, to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.
